The veil between the physical world and the mystical realms is thin for you. As a Seer of Omens, you are blessed (or perhaps cursed) with the ability to possibly interpret signs and portents that others often overlook. Whether through dreams, celestial events, or subtle shifts in nature, the universe appears to speak to you in a language only you can understand (at least, you think it does). This rare gift has set you apart, allowing you to guide those around you in navigating their destinies, while you grapple with the burden of your profound insights, whether they are truly there or only your imagination.


NOTE: Some backgrounds have options to choose from. Please read carefully. You may not get every proficiency listed below, as some may be a choice between one or the other.

  • Stat Options (choose either +2 in one stat and +1 in another, OR +1 in all three): Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma
  • Skill Proficiencies (your choice of TWO): Deception, Insight, or Religion
  • Tool Proficiencies: Gaming Set (choice between Cards or Dice), and your choice of one between Navigator's Tools or one Musical Instrument.
  • Languages: Two Standard and one Exotic language of choice.

  • Background Keepsake: A small token or trinket that you perceive as some sort of omen (value under 10gp).
  • Background Gold: 5gp.
