Backgrounds

Characters come from all sorts of places

The backgrounds listed below are what is available to select during character creation. You must choose a background, and then Personality Traits, Ideals, Flaws, and Bonds within that background. This does not have to entirely define your character, but it gives a nice starting point in order to get settled into town. Please use the website as your source for backgrounds, as we sometimes make small adjustments to selectable skills, features, etc.

Note: Does your background come with a tool proficiency? You have the option to forgo this tool proficiency if you do not want it, as each character has a limit of 3 Tool slots. This does not mean you get to replace it with something else, it simply remains open for you.

This can only be done during the audit process. If you wish to forget a tool later, that can be done at a Trade School.
